Sonaric Tracker

The Sonaric Tracker is an online leaderboard and monitoring tool that provides real-time insights into the Sonaric Network. The Tracker displays aggregated metrics, and a list of nodes currently connected to the network, allowing users to track the growth and health of the Sonaric ecosystem.

Accessing the Tracker

To access the Sonaric Tracker simply navigate to tracker.sonaric.xyz. The Tracker is a web-based application that can be accessed from any device with an internet connection.

Tracker Features

The Sonaric Tracker provides the following features:

  • Network Overview: Displays the total number of nodes connected to the network, the total amount of resources available on the network.
  • Node List: Displays the top-performing nodes based on uptime. Higher uptime results in more points and puts the node higher on the node list.

Network Overview

The Network Overview section of the Tracker provides a high-level view of the Sonaric Network. It includes the following metrics:

  • Total Nodes: The total number of nodes currently connected to the network.
  • Total Number of CPU Cores: The total number of CPU cores available on the network.
  • Total Number of GPUs: The total number of GPUs available on the network.
  • Total RAM: The total amount of RAM available on the network.
  • Total Storage: The total amount of storage available on the network.

These metrics are updated in real-time as new nodes join the network or existing nodes go offline.

Node List

The Node List section of the Tracker displays the top-performing nodes based on their uptime. Nodes collect points for every 10 minutes they stay online, and these points are used to rank the nodes on the leaderboard. The top nodes are eligible for recognition in the Sonaric Incentive Program.

Each node in the list includes the following information:

  • Rank: The current rank of the node based on its points.
  • Node Name: The name of the node as set by the operator. See how to change your node name in the Sonaric GUI.
  • CPUs: The number and type of CPU cores available on the node.
  • GPUs: The number and type of GPUs available on the node.
  • RAM: The amount of RAM available on the node.
  • Storage: The amount of disk storage available on the node.
  • OS: The operating system running on the node.
  • Uptime: The total uptime % uptime of the node since it joined the network.
  • Last Seen: The last time the node was seen online.

The Node List is updated in real-time and provides a snapshot of the current network state.

Uptime Calculation

The uptime of a node is calculated based on the time the node has been online since it joined the network. The uptime is expressed as a percentage of the time between the node first joining the network and current moment. For example, if a node has been online for 10 hours out of a total of 20 hours, its uptime would be 50%.

The formula for calculating uptime is as follows:

Uptime = (Online Time / Total Time) * 100

Where:

  • Online Time is the total time the node has been online.
  • Total Time is the total time since the node joined the network.

INFO

Since the above formula is applied at an interval, the uptime may not be 100% accurate for new nodes that have been online for a short period of time. The accuracy of the uptime calculation improves as the node stays online for longer periods.

Keep your nodes running and avoid shutting them down frequently to maintain a high uptime!
